Terms & Conditions for Heatpump

1. Agreement
   This Agreement consists of these terms and conditions along with the Quote, Proposal, or Sales Order provided, and it becomes effective upon the purchase or payment for the products or services.
2. Definitions
   • Product: Refers to the heat pump water heater detailed in the Quote, Proposal, or Sales Order.
   • Our, Us, Organisation, and We: Refers to Greenify Energy, including its employees, agents, and subcontractors.
   • You or Customer: Refers to the individual(s) who agree to the supply of Products and/or Services from Greenify Energy.
   • Standard Installation: Includes:
     • Property within 50 km of Melbourne CBD.
     • Single-storey, single-dwelling premises.
     • Clear and unhindered access to installation locations.
     • An existing completed home (not under construction/renovation).
     • Premises with wiring/power supply compliant with electrical standards, including a safety switch.
     • A pitched tin or tile roof (slate or asbestos roofing is not suitable).
     • Decommissioning of existing electric or gas hot water systems.
   • Installation: The process of installing the Product.
   • Scheme: Refers to any Australian Government program, such as the Victorian Energy Upgrade (VEU) program, Energy Saving Scheme (ESS), and Renewable Energy Target (RET).
   • Services: Includes all services provided by Greenify Energy, such as product installation, as outlined in the provided invoices or quotations.
   • Price: Refers to the agreed amount payable for the Product and/or Services.
   • Certificate: Refers to certificates created under government schemes.
   Heat Pump Standard Installation:
   • The existing hot water system must be an electric or gas storage or instantaneous system (not a heat pump) located outside the home.
   • The new system will be installed in the same location as the existing hot water system.
3. Payment Terms
   • The Customer must pay 45% of the total cost before delivery.
   • The remaining 55% must be paid on the day of installation.
   • Failure to pay within three (3) days of installation grants Greenify Energy the right to recover the installed product, with the Customer still liable for installation and removal charges.
   • The old unit will be rendered inoperable and cannot be returned.
   • Payments are accepted only after funds are cleared in Greenify Energy’s bank account.
4. Product Expectations
   • Customers must review product datasheets before accepting the quote. Greenify Energy is not liable for minor variations between the product and Customer expectations.
5. Installation Standards
   • Installation follows industry and regulatory compliance standards. Greenify Energy is not liable for demands beyond standard compliance.
   • Customers must provide access for photos/videos required for compliance reporting. If this is not done, the Customer may be liable to pay an amount equivalent to the government rebate if it cannot be claimed due to non-cooperation.
6. Communication
   • All terms and conditions are communicated in writing prior to installation. Miscommunications with sales personnel will not affect the payment schedule.
   • Any changes or agreements must be documented in writing; verbal agreements are not valid.
7. Subcontractors
   • Greenify Energy is not liable for disputes between Customers and subcontractors. Such disputes must be resolved directly with the subcontractor.
8. Additional Terms
   • Greenify Energy does not remove solar hot water panels from roofs.
   • Faults in products are referred to the manufacturer; Greenify Energy is not liable for warranties.
   • Remaining terms, including site inspections, exclusions, rebates, warranties, and liabilities, are outlined in the original agreement document.

By accepting this Agreement, you confirm your understanding and agreement to all the terms and conditions stated above.
